    Sisterhood/Women of BIJ sponsors the monthly Friday Night Feasts and many fun activities and events during the year including the Hanukkah Fair, Will Durst Comedy Night, the Jewish Home Luncheon, a Feminist Seder, our Care and Concern effort, and transportation for those who need it. Sisterhood/Women of BIJ also provide donations to support B3- the Youth and Family Education Program, B'nai Mitzvah and Confirmation Gifts and the Rabbi Morris Scholarship Fund. By becoming a member ($36.00 per year dues), you are helping support this important work.

    If you would like to help, let us know. It is a great opportunity to help our BIJ community and meet some really wonderful people in the process.

    The standard membership commitment for 2017-2018 is $1,900 per family or 1.8% of household income, whichever is higher.  This support helps cover the operating expenses of BIJ and allows us to provide spiritual, educational and social opportunities for all our members.
     

    BIJ will not turn away any member due to their inability to meet the financial commitment of the Standard Member commitment.  We do not ask for personal financial information, but ask only that if you feel that paying the Standard Member level will be a significant financial strain and will cause you or your family hardship that you contact the Synagogue Administrator to make appropriate financial arrangements.

    You can support Congregation Beth Israel Judea by contributing to one of our special funds or to our general fund. Your donation can be in honor of, in memory of, to mark a personal milestone, or just because Tz'dakah is important to you.
