Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Shabbat Dinner!

Welcome the Shabbat with tableside blessings and a catered meal sponsored by Sisterhood - The Women of BIJ.

This month we honor and thank all of BIJ's volunteers and donors!
We will also celebrate the awarding of the Rabbi Morris Scholarship by the Sisterhood/Women of BIJ to Viviane Lorvan.
Our speaker, Jenna Smith (daughter of Lori and Garrett Smith) will share stories of her Peace Corps experience in Madagascar, and how we can lighten our footprint when we travel. She has been abroad for four years and has a passion for sustainable and ethical tourism, hospitality, and events.

Come have a delicious meal and celebrate shabbat with your BIJ community.

  • Membership Payment 2018-2...

The standard membership commitment for 2017-2018 is $1,900 per family or 1.8% of household income, whichever is higher. We also ask each member family to contribute $200 for the Building Fund. This support helps cover the operating expenses of BIJ and allows us to provide spiritual, educational and social opportunities for all our members.

BIJ will not turn away any member due to their inability to meet the financial commitment of the Standard Member commitment.  We do not ask for personal financial information, but ask only that if you feel that paying the Standard Member level will be a significant financial strain and will cause you or your family hardship that you contact the Synagogue Administrator to make appropriate financial arrangements.

  • Donate in Honor or Memory...

You can support Congregation Beth Israel Judea by contributing to one of our special funds or to our general fund. Your donation can be in honor of, in memory of, to mark a personal milestone, or just because Tz'dakah is important to you.
