The Exodus in Song & Art

Come have a delicious meal (and lots of fun!) celebrating Shabbat with your BIJ community.

This Fourth Friday in March will feature Ernest Newbrun, Professor Emeritus from UCSF.

Composers and artists of generations have been inspired by the Biblical narrative of the Exodus.  We will hear music from Handel, Rossini, Debbie Friedman, a Negro Spiritual, and see art from as early as 3rd century CE to contemporary times illustrating the Exodus story.    Promises to be a very special evening.  Join us!

The Friday Night Feasts are generously sponsored by
Sisterhood - The Women of BIJ and supported by your donations.

Childcare can be made available - indicate in "Comments" below.
